LICENSING TERMS

These terms cover music licensed from the Revolutionary Recordings Production Music Library. They’re written in plain language so you know exactly what you can do with a track before you use it.

Effective July 1, 2026. This is a plain-language summary of the license that applies to each purchase. If you need bespoke terms for a specific placement, contact Rob directly.

What Every License Grants

Every pack is composed, recorded, and mixed by Robbie Stout at Revolutionary Recordings with full chain of title — no uncleared samples — so there are no third-party clearance issues to chase down. Regardless of tier, each license is:

Restrictions That Apply to Every Tier

Credit isn’t required — the music is royalty-free — but “Music by Revolutionary Recordings” is always appreciated.

Ownership & Chain of Title

A license grants you the right to use a track under these terms — it does not transfer ownership. Revolutionary Recordings retains the copyright and master rights to every composition and recording. Because each bed is written and produced in-house with no uncleared samples, the tracks carry full chain of title and are cleared for the commercial uses listed in your tier.

Exclusivity & Buyouts

Standard and Commercial licenses are non-exclusive — the same track may be licensed to other clients. If you need exclusivity, a buyout, or to take a track off the market for your campaign, that’s handled as a custom sync arrangement. Contact Rob to scope it.

Refunds

Licenses are delivered as digital downloads, so they’re generally non-refundable once the files have been sent. If something is wrong with your purchase — a broken file, the wrong pack, a licensing question — reach out and Rob will make it right.

Changes to These Terms

These terms may be updated as the library grows. Any change applies going forward only — the terms in effect on the date you licensed a track continue to govern that license. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the current version.
